I read that long ass 66 post thread about HD DVD and Blu Ray. It ended up being more about VHS Vs. Beta, but anyways...
If I did get a Blu Ray I would wait for the Profile or whatever 1.1 to come out. That's just how I would do things.
I think right now HD DVD is the way to go for myself at least. Then possibly purchase a Blu Ray at a later time. Unless HD DVD wins the format war.
