I read most of your review and to me it just seems like you are upset because it is different than H2. Well, that is because it is not H2, it is H3. You contradict yourself by saying the skill has been taken out of the game, however you are upset because the sniper rifle takes more skill to use. You are upset because people can see when you are carrying the sword, but actually that rewards people for paying attention and it makes sense that you would be able to see what weapons someone is carrying. You can always go back to H2, but I think if you play H3 long enough, you will adapt. There is still skill involved, it is just different skill in some cases.
