Great post Lee!

It is fantastic that the media is FINALLY talking about these BD profiles. I think I was one of the first to be talking about this last year, and not to toot my own horn, I think I was the most vocal poster to be talking about this. My reasons were simple. People come to these forums for good info so they can make an INFORMED decision. They were not getting it from the media and most forums were not talking about this.

I think this site has probably been talking about this for the longest sustained period so that people looking to make a decision about which format to choose who came here knew about it.

I know many people back then did not know about it and one such person was El Despairado. He had actually bought a Samsung BD-P1000 and when he was made aware of this profile issue he returned the player, then went out and bought an HD-XA2.

I wonder how many people we educated on this issue long before the media even got it on their radar? Some BD fans got made with this Profile issue bein mentioned to all new people coming here, but I bet most of them are glad they learned about this before it was too late.
