I shelled out a pretty penny for my HR10-250 less than two years ago. Are we D* customers just supposed to factor a bi-yearly $300 equipment upgrade into our service cost? If so, D* is the worst deal in town.

If you already have an HD Package or HD DVR like your 10-250, the only charge to upgrade is the shipping of the new unit and satellite ($19.95). A bargain to me.
