Yep this is pretty obvious. So now the question... why pay $300 to upgrade? $300 could buy cable with HD package for a long time (factoring in sign up incentives etc, etc).
I shelled out a pretty penny for my HR10-250 less than two years ago. Are we D* customers just supposed to factor a bi-yearly $300 equipment upgrade into our service cost? If so, D* is the worst deal in town.
