I wondered the same thing some months ago. It is very possible that the vast majority of those who wanted the PS3 as a BR player did so many months ago. All the new buyers are just gamers, now, for whom BR might be just a minor curiosity.

Sony needs to figure a way to get all the gamers to become BR movie buyers in addition to game players.
