Yes, but you misunderstood my point. If the feeling I'm getting from Toshibas strategy (make a huge impact over Q4 with by far the cheapest entry level player, push exclusive content such as Matrix, Star Trek, Heroes etc) is correct. Come 2008 when they loose the exclusivity, it won't be any where near the same issue is currently is because HD DVD will already have the momentum into 2008 and perhaps force alot of studios not currently supporting HD DVD to take note.

*at a different poster* As for no Universal Catalogue titles on Blu Ray, sorry to dissapoint you, but Bruce Almighty is on Blu Ray in the UK as Buena Vista have the rights to it here. Don't know of any others yet, but I don't know the full Blu Ray catalogue here. It is VASTLY larger than HD DVDs in the UK mainly thanks to Blu Ray studios actually bothering with HD releases over here while Universal are happy to pump out 1 or 2 a month at best

Next week there is something like 15 Blu Ray releases versus 2 HD DVD with Entertainment in Video releasing a huge wad of films including titles like The Departed, which is neutral in the US, but BD exclusive over here.

So that leads into my final point to Super XP, although players are heavily slanted in HD DVDs favour, hardware sales are barely even a blip over here so it's a large chunk of not many players, while the PS3 has done incredibly well at launch (even if it's just a trickle of sales now) and with it being by far the cheapest Blu Ray player even at £425 ($850) it's definitely sold to alot of the HD movie crowd. The Blu Ray section is usually double the size of the HD DVD section assuming a shop even carries HD DVD.
