Step up to what? The new "features" of HDMI 1.3 are practically worthless. One "feature" he forgot to mention is that HDMI 1.3 will handle 4X the resolution of 720P - that's 4 million pixels.
See any 2000x2000 displays out there?
Just more marketing BS from the Asian CEM's, in an attempt to get people to upgrade.
