USA today anounced today that blue rays "300 outsold hd's version 2 to 1. this seems very weird to me. I was in best buy this week and they said they had sixty copies of both and they were out of the hd and had roughly 20-25 blue-rays left. The guys that work their said the are seeing more people buying hd than blue ray. this could just be that store or my area but 2-1 NO WAY!!!

when the ps3 came out they had way more blue-ray machines available then hd. but now that margin has closed. Also they had posted that blue-ray had more titles released than hd by 2-1. again NO WAY!!!

Can sony somehow be manipulating the #'s because hd is so much better. their cheaper for 1, the movies offer more, the specs are better , the audio is better on most disc. I'm getting pissed that these kind of #'s keep being released. first blockbuster says blue-ray, then target. It must be a bigger profit margin or sony has better marketing because true hometheater fanatics seem to support hd, and with machines half the price you'd think that so would the general public.
