If DVR, their are boxes such as the LG LST-3410 that are OTA tuners with integrated HD DVR. The 3410 has 2 rf inputs and has ATSC (digital / HD) and NTSC (analog) tuners.

The OTA DVR area is relatively untouched otherwise. See some other posts herein related to some new equipment coming out. Various advantages / constraints.
