If it was priced PROPERLY and replaced the SD only version the economies of scale would most likely wipe out almost all mfg cost differences AND make the retailers happy. Which format would the retailers push if THIS happened?

But it is only 15 GB for the HD movie. That isn't going to work. I had thought the 45 GB or 51 GB would have solved the problem with 30 GB for the HD and 15 GB for the SD - but Steeb over at AVS showed me (very nicely I might add) that that doesn't work.
