HD DVD uses the same pressing lines that DVD does. It is just a case of using a different Glass Master to actually press the discs and some small adjustments to the line to accomodate the HD DVD's.
You would have to press 10 million to do a 5 million run - the only thing I am not sure of is the machines that glues them together - THEY would have to be perfect and though there were issues with the process with Children of Men - it seems to be fixed as we have not heard about any problems lately on combos.
And why would BRD supporters give you ANY solid info on HD DVD . . at BRD.com - you have to be kidding me right?
