I wish to buy a high definition camcorder; however, I do not have a high definition TV, or a high definition DVD player / burner.
Hence whatsoever video footage I will be shooting in high definition, cannot be viewed or played by the conventional (standard definition) TV and DVD player.
I have read over the web that one can down convert high definition video to a standard definition video, which then can be burned by normal DVD burner and footage can be viewed over a normal TV.
I wish to know about the quality of this down converted standard definition video.
Is it equal to video quality shoot by a 3 CCD camcorder (like Panasonic GS 320)?
