BD does NOT have better PQ. That "Full HD" talk is more marketing than anything else. Experts have already stated that as long as the 1080p display properly deinterlaces the signal there will be no difference in PQ since the HD DVD discs are all encoded at 1080p also. No info is lost and besides, TWO of the HD DVD players currently out DO in fact output 1080p.
I own both formats and PQ is finally very close, but I still give the edge to the HD DVD movies on average, but it is very close now.
