I'm looking to buy a blu ray player to go with my HD-A2 HD DVD player. I'm considering the Samsung BD-P1200 or the next generation Panasonic DMP-BD10A (do out soon, $599.00 and includes 5 BD discs in the box). I like the Panasonic deal, but the Samsung and it's Silicon Optix Reon chip is very tempting. I hear that the samsung is probably the best up converting player available (anyone know if this is really true?). I'm curious to hear opinions. I also know Sony has a second generation player coming too. my price limit is about $600.00. Let me hear what you think.
