I've got my HDMI connected to the plasma television in the living room and the RGB cables connected to the television in the bedroom. They are both working off the same receiver.

I would recommend purchasing a HDMI cable on the internet because local stores use this as a big profit item.

Luckly, the cables (including the HDMI) came with my new Directv HD receiver.
