The two problems I have with LCD panels are the motion issues that are getting better, but still have smearing on fast moving action scenes, and the lack of deep blacks. Of and the higher cost currently for comparable screen size, so I guess that makes 3 issues.

I suspect in the next year those 3 issues will no longer be issues judging by how they have been improving on them so far.

Congrats to the OP for getting into HD. The PS3 is probably the only smart BD player to buy at this point IMO.
