I have a question about the DVI connection.
I already have everything connected to an audio receiver and a DTV STB. I'm using the optical for audio and everything else is RCA cables. DVD Recorder/VCR combo unit also hooked up to all the above.

My question, if I use a DVI connection from my STB into the TV, will I need to disconnect any of the other stuff that's already working. I think that using the DVI will improve my picture from what I've read.

TV is a Samsung 6163W and the DTV receiver is a Samsung TS360. The picture needs brightening up some (changing that in the TV setup only makes the picture look washed out even if the contrast is changed)
