The problem is that Sony is more arrogant than previously thought possible for a company. They have reached a point where they think they have the power to dictate to people what they should and shouldn't buy. Even Microsoft appears to have abandoned that attitude in the last several years. That's why it's so important to have competition in a capitalist economy.
