Yep. I appreciate what you are saying. But the sad reality is a bad pixel on an Internet purchased set is a MUCH bigger deal than the same problem on a TV bought locally. Shipping a TV back for a replacement would likely eat up any potential savings as well as introduce a giant dose of aggravation. So, how common is a problem? How good are the manufacturing processes today? Does anyone have any rough idea of what portion of TVs actually have a pixel problem?
