I have tried 3 receivers and changed the hdmi cable-no help. My screen blinks to black for a couple of seconds 5 or 6 times a minute. My experience with D tech support has been miserable. After being told flat out that there were no compatability issues, I was told (after 3d receiver installation) that there was a compatability issue between their receivers and hdmi which would be fixed with a software patch in mid-Sept. Sure. I now use component connection which is ok, but not hdmi.
One tech person provided a gratuitous and insulting lecture to the effect that I was contractually obligated to D even if they are never able to resolve the issues with their equipment. Apparently, they hire lawyers as tech support.
To be fair, all four of the technicians who visited my home were courteous and professional. Interesting to see what happens in mid-Sept.
