I have a Pioneer prog scan DVD player hooked up to a 61" RCA Widescreen HDTV. My DVD player gives you the option of using progressive scan.

Naturally, I try to use the progressive scan option with everything. But on some of my DVD's, I see the "pixilation" and movements appear as if I'm being drugged up on something.

And the odd thing is, this pixilation occurs when I watch a live concert DVD (Dave Matthews @ Central Park, and at the Gorge) that was shot with HD cameras!

However, movies like Star Wars Episode II and most other newer releases look better with progressive scan.

So I can't tell you why it happens, but I can sympathize with you...its happening with me too.
