OK, so I got my HDtv, an RCA, great TV, I love it, but a few days ago, while cleaning my garage looking for stuff to sell on ebay, I came across one of the cables that i bought for my PS2, namely the component ones, so I decided to give it a try on the new TV, but i gotta say that the picture sucks, it shimmers so bad my eyes hurt. Trying to solve the problem i tried a different set of cables, a different PS2, different games and DVD movies, but the problem remained.Thinking that the TV was the problem, I hooked a DVD player i had with a set of component cables and the picture was the sharpest i've ever seen, so I guess the TV is ok.Does anyone has any ideas on the reason this is happening and some kind of fix?? I have a Toshiba TV, a 32 incher, not HD, that ahs the component input and i used to play the PS2 on it without a problem, so when i saw the shimmering on the new TV I knew I had to fix it. About the only thing i can think of that could cause this is that the PS2 sends a signal with a refresh rate of about 30 Hz, but since I really don't know much about this, i'm only speculating, so any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
