Meh, my 57in HDTV supports 1080i and I am happy. I am not going to rush out and buy another TV just for a console or for the hollyweird elites. Besides only a few TVs support 1080p the vast majority of TVs people have are 1080i as well. And lets not forget, the majority of consumers don't have HDTV. Until I see side by side the benefits of 1080p over 1080i for gaming (and movies), I will take the PS3 hype with a grain of salt. I watched gamespot's "hi res" coverage of sony and M$ presentations, PS3 games were weak graphically or CG.
