If you think games will need 50GB or even 25GB for actual gaming, then you do not understand game development..unless you want HD cut scenes. Oblivion has shown that DVD has plenty of space for next-gen graphics, hours voice acting, of 5.1 surround sound, and most importantly over 200 hours of game play (the average game has less than 15 hours). People thought that the game was going to require 4 DVDs, but lo and behold the fanboys were wrong: only 1 was needed. If you understand compression technology, BR is even overkill for HD movies. Mpeg 4 is a much more efficient (shall I say "next-gen? ) HD codec than mpeg2. As Public Enemy would say "Don't believe the (Sony) hype"
