Hi PFC5,

Like you, I also own a RCA DLP purchased 8-04. I have the 50" version. Could you give me detailed info on how to get in and out of the service menu to check my lamp hours. I am guessing about 3000 hrs, I did have a lamp and ballast replaced under warranty in Jan.'05 although I never lost the picture, just a flashing front panel light... The service tech replaced both, just to be sure I didn't have a problem in the future.I also have the Best Buy extended warranty and a extra lamp in the closet, just in case...and yes it is the best DLP picture I have seen, in both SD digital (excellent), and HD (outstanding)....
