i see there are some peeps here now, rbnick....

I see alot of surround sets, example Polk has a 5.1 set for 199.99, I'm just scared I'll spend 2 - 3 hundred on speakers and they'll still pop when playing games with gun fire or watching movies with explosions.

The speakers I have now snap crackle and pop like crazy, especially the rear speakers. i have 12" Pioneer;s for the fronts, but the rears are crap, well fronts aren't good either really.

I'm truly too embarrased to even mention the brand or center and rears I have, lets just say I didn't find any that cost less at the time.
