As I said, I already own a JVC 5.1 recieveer w/ Dolby Digital and DTS via Digital Optical cable. It is an older reciever, prob 5 - 6 yrs old.

So should I just buy a good set of speakers and keep this reciever, or do I need a new reciever as well??

I'm thinking of just buying a speaker set for like $200 - $300 and keeping the reciever despite its age, it does have DTS.

What do you think??
