Wow, great read. Not because I have a panasonic ED plasma, but because its non-biased, factual and to the point. Plus, this ED vs HD subject very much interests me. Im still playing around with my STB settings reguarding HD content. I find that if I set the STB to 1080i, I get a MUCH better picture than if I set it to my tv's native resolution of 480P. Does that make sense?? Same goes with my xbox 360. Its worlds better set to 1080i vs 720p or 480p. People say that setting your input signal to match your native resolution is best, but I still have yet to see it better displayed on my ED in 480P from the xbox and the comcast HD stations then 1080i.
