To each his own. I don't bash the HD or 1080p sets, they're great. But I was able to get mine, and take the wife to Cancun this March for the same price as the HD model. I just didn't see 1200 dollars worth of difference between the two. Sure the Panny, and Pioneer HD sets looked better.... but 1200 dollars better? Not for me. To each his own I suppose. Cheers!
