I doesn't happen while just watching Speed Channel. Only when I am either recording the channel or playing back the recording. So the issue is definitely DVR related. But we've tried new DVRs and it doesn't happen on any other channel. Weird! It also happens on both of our tvs that have the Cox DVR attached. The other tv is a 15 year old RCA set. So I can watch Speed Channel for 24 hours and I'll never lose the audio. But if I record the programming and watch it in real time the audio will drop within the hour. Cox cannot figure it out, but they're trying to help.
