media: it's the fuel you put in the car.
Look for the price of the media... it will dictate what you have. I suspect that it will be years before it's commonly available at a cheap price. Even then I have my miss-givings with plastic disk and dye storage. Recent reports indicate data loss as early as 5 years and some experts are suggesting re-copying every ten years. I'd be plenty pee-ed if my $50 a uncopyable DRM HD disk movie died in ten years.
In the mean time PC's will be the media source (hard drive) for most of us.
