Blu-ray camp has more support and better tech. However, HD-DVD will be offered at a significantly lower price point in general. Toshiba will debut their HD-DVD players at $500 and $800; whereas, currently, the lowest Blu-ray player is expected to be around $1,000.

There will be a clear winner eventually and if Sony is able to lower the price points of the BR players, I believe it will be them.

I had no original intention on picking up a HD-DVD player, but for $500, I probably will. And since I still plan on picking up a PS3 (I will buy a BR before PS3, if the price is around $500), I will get both.
